Scenario 3:  Industry Stagnation

At the moment, one of the largest certain trends within the sailing industry is the lack of competence. If nothing is done to resolve this matter the industry will have problems developing and seeing steady growth. With the contribution of new competence in the industry the possibilities of industry growth is vastly better. Recent trends have resulted in a growing sailing market, but without the competence to capitalize on these trends, the industry will stagnate over the next five to ten years. With minimal development of the effects of climate change, the sailing industry would not have to adapt much, since the seascape would be much alike. This scenario is much like the situation today, and without the capacity to develop further.
